Berries

Berries are a type of food item introduced in Zoo Tycoon 2: Endangered Species, eaten by all "Berries eaters" in the game.

A wide variety of animals enjoy the sweet taste of berries, including the peafowl, chimpanzee, and the ring-tailed lemur. Even the carnivorous grizzly bear sometimes eats berries to supplement its diet. Berries can be placed directly on the ground, in a food dish, or in an elevated food dish. They can also be hidden in substrate piles or hollow logs to encourage animals to explore.
