The Freshwater Crocodile (Crocodylus johnstoni) is a mid-sized Oceanian reptile. It is an adoptable animal in Zoo Tycoon (Xbox).

The freshwater crocodile, also known as Johnstone's Crocodile, is an Australian species of crocodilian that is closely related to the larger Saltwater Crocodile. Comparatively small for a crocodile, males typically reach a length of 3m (9.8ft) and weigh up to 70kg (150lbs), with females being smaller. The freshwater crocodile can also be distinguished from the saltwater crocodile by its comparatively slender snout.
The freshwater crocodile lives in freshwater wetlands of Northern Australia, typically in regions where the more dominant saltwater crocodile cannot live. It primarily eats fish and amphibians, but will also catch birds and bats as they fly over the water to drink. Like all crocodilians, females will take care of their young until they are large enough to fend for themselves. Despite competition from the saltwater crocodile, the freshwater crocodile is not considered threatened in the wild, although numbers are declining due to the spread of the invasive cane toad, which is poisonous to the crocodile.

The Freshwater Crocodile is an adoptable animal in Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection, the updated version of Zoo Tycoon (Xbox). It is available for adoption at a fame level of 22.
The freshwater crocodile is a mini-exhibit animal and lives in the Arid Pool mini-exhibit. Up to two crocodiles can be exhibited in a single Arid Pool. As the only true crocodile in the game (not counting the five caiman species), it is not compatible with any other animal.
