Prey Dummies are enrichment objects which many animals of various species will play with to satisfy their stimulation need. There are three in total in Zoo Tycoon 2.
Stuffed Prey Dummy[]
The Stuffed Prey Dummy is an enrichment object first introduced in the Black Leopard & Stuffed Prey Dummy Download as an enrichment object for various carnivorous animals such as cats and bears. It is a small enrichment item, being only half a tile big. The Stuffed Prey Dummy unlocks at a 2-star zoo rating and must be researched before the player is able to buy it.

Seal Prey Dummy[]
The Seal Prey Dummy was introduced in the Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania expansion pack. The Seal Prey Dummy is unique in that it can only be placed in tanks and is only used by the White Shark and Orca. Unlike the original Stuffed Prey Dummy, the Seal Prey Dummy does not need to be researched, however it does require a 5-star rating in order to be unlocked.

Dinosaur Prey Dummy[]
The Dinosaur Prey Dummy was first introduced in the Dino Danger Pack as enrichment for large dinosaurs as well as rhinos. It is the largest of the prey dummies, however the Seal Prey Dummy is still the most expensive. The Dinosaur Prey Dummy resembles a sauropod in shape and unlocks at a 3-star zoo rating. It requires research before it is able to be placed.

- The Great White Shark is coded to have a 1% chance of "swallowing" the Seal Prey Dummy when playing with it, destroying the toy when doing so.
- The Common Reedbuck was used as the reference animal for the Stuffed Prey Dummy.
