Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs, sometimes shortened to just Dino Digs, is a expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon. It was released on May 19, 2002 and was the first expansion pack for the Zoo Tycoon series. It was later followed by Marine Mania on October 17, 2002 (exactly 1 year after the original game), and was eventually bundled with it and the original game in a compilation pack called Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection.
Animals[]
Dinosaur Digs adds 26 new prehistoric animals and 1 mythical animal to adopt.
The larger carnivores will ram down any non-electric fence, and a damaged electric fence will also be broken. A way to bypass this and use cheaper fencing is to surround an exhibit with water, although it will not work for ones that can swim. The escaped dinosaurs will harass and in some cases even eat guests.
